Cahssis or VIN NumberNo, A chassis number will Not help us to identify what brake parts you have fitted to your Vehicle in the event that multiple (more than 1) brake product was fitted to your Vehicle.

Your chassis number will only be helpful if you go to your car dealership but you will pay dealership prices for the same products we are listing at a cheaper price

It is totally your choice, go to the dealers and pay more for the convenience and quickness of supplying your chassis number to your dealer

If we are showing multiple items for your Vehicle it is because multiple products were fitted to your Vehicle during our date range, we suggest  to go outside, remove the wheel and take a measurement or 2, look at our pictures and match up with what we are advertising to the parts fitted to your Vehicle

8 - Do I have to sign for my delivery?

SignaturesYes, in this day an age of credit card fraud we require a signature to prove that the customer actually placed and signed for the order

If you will  not be at home on the day of delivery then there is a simple choice at our online checkout to choose to have the delivery made to an alternate delivery address, this could be a friends, neighbours or even you work address. as long as it is signed for (by an adult) Both the customer and us are covered against fraudulent purchases, this protects the genuine card holder and us alike

Couriers will not leave a package unsigned for and they will not call before a delivery (why notify the card fraudster 10 minutes before the drop-off)

If no one is in at the designated delivery address then thE-Package will go back to the courier hub, simple....

11. When can I expect my refund?

Refunds are performed 14 days from arriving with us to allow enough time for sorting, identification and the visual inspection of each returned product received

Returns must reach us before our 14 day returns period deadline (excluding old caliper units) or if later a credit note will be issued against future purchases with us

Note: Brake calipers can be returned at anytime for the deposit refunding as there is no time limit on this sort of return

All refunds are paid back to the credit / debit card or paypal account that was used when making the original purchase unless 60 days have passed where upon we will e-mail a PayPal money payment which can be easily claimed by following the link on the PayPal money payment e-mail, this payment can be claimed and transfered back to any credit or debit card or Paypal account immediately

We can not reufund a credit or debit card in the normal way once 60 days have elapsed (see above)

No, Unfortunately many main dealer part numbers are internal only part numbers which does not cross reference very well

As we are unable to see your actual product we will not take the responsibility of supplying the wrong product to any customer, therefore we will not cross reference any other manufacturer or dealer part number

We advise all our customer to navigate their way to the Vehicle using our ever so simple brake catalogue then viewing the product pictures that we are showing for that Vehicle then match up our picture with the actual product fitted to the Vehicle in question

We accept either by telephone or by making your purchase online any of the following methods to take or make payment for your order

16. There are multiple products shown for my vehicle, so my question is "Which product do I need"?

Some Vehicles within our online catalogue will show 2, 3 or even 4 types the same product for the same Vehicle during the date range that we are showing for, we understand that it Maybe confusing to identify the correct product for your Vehicle

The reason we show multiple products is not to confuse you, it is because the manufacturer of your model (in their infinite wisdom) fitted multiple products to the same Vehicle during our date range

 

Contacting us with a chassis or registration number will tell us what colour your car is, when it was first registered and the engine size, unfortunately it will not tell us which brake or clutch product to order

 

Our tips to identify the correct braking parts are:

  • Look through or remove the wheel
  • Physically look at the part fitted to your Vehicle to match up our picture with item fitted to car
  • Take a ruler and measure the part matching up with our sizes (see below)
  • Once you are happy order the correct part
  • If unsure order multiple parts returning the wrong parts back to us for a refund as per our terms

17. Brake Caliper Deposits - What's all that about?

How our caliper exchange service works:

  1. Customer identifies and purchases the required caliper
  2. The checkout adds both the cost and the refundable deposit to the total price (deposits are inclusive of vat and are shown at every caliper product)
  3. Customer complete the purchase
  4. Customer fits the brake caliper to the vehicle
  5. Customer returns the old acceptable unit back to us
  6. We inspect the unit (see below on what is an acceptable condition)
  7. We refund the customers deposit back to the same card or PayPal account that was used to make the purchase

 

How to return old units for the deposit refund

What is an acceptable condition

  • Snapped or seized bleed nipples are acceptable
  • Siezed pistons are acceptable
  • Seized handbrake mechanisims are acceptable
  • Badly rusted or painted calipers are acceptable

 

What is not an acceptable condition

  • A broken or cracked casing is not acceptable
  • A different caliper than supplied is not acceptable
  • Incomplete or missing parts of the caliper is not acceptable
  • Drill or attempted to be drilled out bleed or inled ports are not acceptable
  • Cross threaded or damaged inlet / outlet ports are not acceptable
